Teq is proud to be attending the annual New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE) conference! We are so excited to connect with educators, administrators, and technology experts to lead the transformation of teaching and learning through technology. Taking place from November 23rd to November 26th, 2024, NYSCATE will be held at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY.

Dyslexia and other learning differences can present significant challenges for individuals when it comes to reading, writing, and overall communication. Fortunately, there are numerous technological tools available to help individuals with dyslexia and other learning differences. One of the most popular tools is Microsoft’s suite of products, which includes Immersive Reader, Reading Coach, and more. In this presentation, we will explore how Microsoft tools can be used to help individuals with dyslexia and other learning differences succeed in academic and professional settings.

Benefits for Attendees: Provide an overview of dyslexia and other learning differences and how they affect reading, writing, and overall communication. Introduce the various Microsoft tools available that can assist individuals with dyslexia and other learning differences, such as text-to-speech and speech-to-text functionalities, font adjustments, and immersive reader.
