Google Lit Trips allows students to virtually follow along through the book they are reading in class. This website is a whole new way to Appreciate Great Literature! Google Lit Trips has over 40 pre-created trips that students and teachers can download and run through Google Earth. These Lit Trips are easy to navigate and fun for the students. They are organized on the website by grade level.
This is a free website and easy to use. The website also gives step-by-step instructions on how teachers can create their own lit trips, tips for using Google Earth and ideas for integrating Google Lit trips into allows students to tour the places where the characters they read about are living and exploring.
