According to Durham District School Board Mental Health Leader Allison Potts, “We know from research, that movement is important for learning.” With all the time students spend in their seats, social-emotional learning (SEL) is more important than ever to help students in and out of the classroom. Incorporate movement in your in the classroom today with the new Self-regulation Classroom Cruiser from Copernicus.

What is the Classroom Cruiser?
The moveable, yet stationary bike is designed to provide opportunities for students grades Pre-K through 6 to self-regulate without having to leave or disrupt the class. Additionally, it is ideal for inclusive environments by helping kinesthetic learners and any student who may need to get their energy out. This allows students to regroup and relax, focusing their attention on the classroom instead.
The Self-regulation Classroom Cruiser from Copernicus is a seated stationary bicycle. It comes complete with a built-in display screen to track speed, distance, and calories. In addition, the bike is adjustable, as young learners are constantly growing. Attached wheels allow for easy transport around the classroom and throughout the school.
Safety, durability, and accessibility
The Self-regulation Classroom Cruiser is a secure and reliable solution for learners aged Pre-K through 6. With over 7 million testing cycles, the Classroom Cruiser is built to withstand thousands and thousands of miles and can accommodate students of various sizes.
Additionally, many students with learning disabilities may have trouble sitting still and/or focusing. It is important to offer these students an alternative to taking time out of the classroom. The Copernicus Cruiser allows students to remain present during lessons while getting their movement in. The stationary bike comes with a book stand that can hold class materials like papers, notebooks, and even laptops and tablets.
